ทราบมาตั้งแต่สัปดาห์ที่แล้วว่าไมโครซอฟท์เตรียมออกอัพเดตสำหรับตรวจจับการแคล็ควิสต้า 2 รูปแบบหลัก ที่มีอยู่ใน Windows Vista SP 1 นำมาใช้กับ Windows Vista โดยขณะนั้นไม่ทราบว่าเป็น KB ใด จนเมื่อได้รับผ่าน Windows Update เช้านี้
Windows Vista (KB940510) เป็นตัวตรวจจับการแคล็ก 2 รูปแบบ คือ การแฮ็คไบออสและการเลื่อนเวลาการแอคติเวต โดยเมื่อทำการติดตั้งจะตรวจพบการแฮ็กทั้งสองรูปแบบ และขึ้นข้อความแจ้งว่าเป็นวิสต้าเถื่อนทันที
This update enables Windows Vista to detect activation exploits that bypass product activation and that interfere with usual Windows operation. An exploit is a form of software that replaces or modifies authentic Windows components. When exploits are present on a system, it indicates that a software or hardware vendor may have tampered with genuine Windows to enable the sale of counterfeit software. Therefore, the security and the privacy of the computer are put at risk. After this update is installed, you will know if exploits are present on the system.
When the update is installed, no functionality of your operating system will be affected. If no exploits are detected, the update silently exits. If exploits are detected, you will be provided a link to a Web site that describes how you can remove the exploits. When the exploits are removed, you may be asked to use a valid product key to activate your copy of Windows. If you do not want to remove the exploits, Windows may disable the exploits and then ask you to use a valid product key to activate Windows.
ใครที่ใช้วิสต้าเถื่อนระวังตัวนี้ไว้นะครับ เผลออัพเดตละก็ เรียบร้อยครับ
อัพเดต: มีข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมจาก ZDnet Blog ว่าอัพเดตนี้ทำหน้าที่แค่ตรวจและรายงานผลว่ามีการแคล็กระบบหรือไม่ แต่ไม่มีการลดฟังก์ชั่นการทำงานของ Windows Vista และยังสามารถใช้งานได้ตามปกติ หลังจากอัพเดตนี้ตรวจพบว่ามีการแคล็กวิสต้า แต่ตัว Windows ยังแสดงผลว่าเป็น genuine และผ่านการแอคติเวตแล้ว

มันแจ้งให้ load และ Install ตัวนี้แล้วอ่ะ ทำงัยจะลบออกจากรายการ Windows Update อะครับ

ถ้าไม่อยากติดตั้งคลิกขวาแล้วเลือก hide

เวลากดที่ check update แล้วรอมันขึ้นที่ install update แต่ยังไม่ต้องกด install update นะครับ..กดที่ view available updates ก่อน
จากนั้นไม่อยากได้ตัวไหนก็ติ๊กออกแล้วกด install ข้างล่างเลย..

เออ ครับทำตามนั้นแล้ว ตอนนี้ใน list รายการมีอันเดียวคือเจ้าตัวนี้ พอเอาติ๊กถูกออก ปุ่ม Install ข้างล่างมันจะ Disable ไปเลยครับ กดได้แต่ Cancel

ออ ได้แระคับ แฮๆๆ เหมือน คห 3 บอก คลิกขวา แล้วเลือก hidden update

เครื่องน้องที่ใช้วิธี HM ลอง install KB940510 ไปแล้วปรากฏว่ารอดครับ..หุๆ..

วันนี้ลอง Refresh เล่นๆ ปรากฎว่า.. มีไอ้เจ้านี่เพียงแค่ตัวเดียว

เอ่อ อัพเดทไปแล้วอ่า ใช้ของเถื่อนด้วย แต่ไม่มีไรขึ้นมาเลย เผลอกดไป

เผลอลงไปเหมือนกันครับ น่าจะเรียกว่าจงใจมากกว่า เพราะไปกด install มันเองกับมือ แต่จากคำอธิบายที่เค้าให้ไว้ ถ้าเครื่องไหนตรวจพบว่ามีการใช้ Serial เถื่อน ก็จะมีส่วนแจ้งเตือนออกมาตลอด คงคล้าย ๆ กับ Windows Genuine Notification แต่ถ้าเครื่องไหนตรวจสอบแล้ว ไม่มีอะไรคอยกวนใจขึ้นมา (If no exploits are detected, the update silently exits.)ก็คงแสดงว่าผ่านนะครับ
